wanted belt guard brackets
01/11/19 at 16:58:27

Hi I have a ryca conversion with a modified  swingarm that I got off craigslist. I am trying to make a standard out of it. The previous owner cut off the two mounting brackets for the belt guard off the swingarm. I have a stock swing arm but hate to cut off the brackets. Does any have brackets they have removed? Or do you have a bent swing arm you could part with?
Thanks
God Bless.

Thanks Yoshi
I have a spare swingarm also, I hate to cut up a good swing arm just for the brackets. So I will wait a little while, to see if any one has a bent / damaged one for me to harness the brackets from. If anything, maybe some one has a ryca modded swingarm with the brackets still and be willing to trade me for my ryca one with out the brackets.

I have removed brackets from a couple of swing arms.....in the process of removing them they get destroyed, as they are welded on really good and it takes lots of cutting and grinding to get them off.

If you want brackets - I believe you need to get another swing arm.

"Thanks, I was afraid of something like that, I have a good stock one, but it won't work with the too fat 18 on the rear.

I probably should have built this bike from the get go instead of buying someone else's handy work.   Angry

How hard can it be to make them and have someone weld them back on?
