We know we are getting older when we have to struggle to push .223 rounds into 30 round clips.   This little gizmo makes it easy peasey to do (and hurts my old arthritic fingers a whole lot less).

Loading it probably hurts a bit less than the recoil when you shoot it! Huh

I suspect it will be a Dell Inspiron , w/I-5 processor .   The old Acer I've been using is so crazy slow it reminds me of "Dial-up" Days !  Embarrassed

I've been putting up  with the Acer (windows 10/Celeron) just fine but , Some times it frustrates Marcia to the point of bringing out the side of her , that's not so perty .  Lips Sealed
Normally we each have our own computer , but her old windows 7 won't do stuff sometimes so she gets my window 10.   It could be just the window 7 to 10 differences , but I'm a  computer illiterate most of the time , so I'm only guessing.

So , I've got three old computers I don't use anymore .
A Dell (7) with broken screen
A Toshiba Satellite w/17" screen (Vista) works but not supported on the net anymore.
And the Acer Aspire E 15 - I'm on now (10) , still works but slow.  After Christmas it may retire ?

Walmart has a lot of computers with 500GB and less still for sale and a lot of them are still the old Celeron processor too.  They want Big $$ for the terabytes.

Yea , Versey

I had an idea to use the Toshiba to plant an herb garden in but it won't hold much dirt ?

………………..

with so much personal information on them , there should be a safe way to get rid of them and reuse the screens and such.  ?
.......................

So , jcstokes  what's the "A" stand for  ?   as in SFA ?  I must not get around much ???  Undecided

An external 1TB HDD will retail for €100 including the case and USB cable.

The difference in prioce between a PC with 500GB and 1TB HDD is €50.

So I am afraid that somwhere, retailers are overselling what really should cost peanuts.

From this point of view, Amazon is a tue Peacemaker -
If Wally sells something for $100 and Amazon will deliver the same,
in three days, at half the price, you know whom to turn to.

As for Win7 / Win.VISTA, IIRC MS should encourage you to upgrade for very little cost.
Else, LINUX is, inho, a better OS than Windows.

What you want to watch out for is the slowy-pokey Celeron microprocessors
who claim they're 64bit, but are actyally the equivalent to the old "SX" chips of 386/486 fame.
In other words, Celerons should always be fed a 32bit OS.
They simply don't have enough teeth to chew on 64bit OS.

Fortunately, at my old age, I have everything I need, except the ability to get a good night's sleep! Oh, and a heated workshop, Baby it's cold inside!
cheers! Cool
