Had a thought, no not working hard enough.
If you can convert a truck bed and axle into a trailer...
Could you convert a parts bike into a single wheel trailer?
Mount a spindle on the frame horns under the seat to connect the trailer to.
Strip everything off the frame that's not necessary.
Maybe mount the front wheel in back.

I don't see why you couldn't....they do a very similar thing for bicycles.

https://bicycles.stackexchange.com/questions/25732/do-trailer-bikes-help-kids-le
arn-to-ride-a-bike-on-their-own

And you could leave the engine in place and link all the controls.....and have a 1,300cc Beast of Burden!

I believe it would have to be a 2 axis spindle....as the trailer would need to pivot left/right in curves, and also up/down on bumps and while the bike is leaned over.

Cool idea. And I like Dave's proposal for a pusher.

I'd love to see how our friend below from the Czech Republic mounted his. Also, I've noticed some employing a small universal joints like those used on the shafties as a 2 axis knuckle.

I have a friend who put a "Car top dry-box" on one of these:

https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive-motorcycle/trailer-accessories/1090-...

He likes it , says " I forget its back there "

-------------------------------

I've heard of a contraption that applies a mechanical trailer brake by using a compressing tongue on the trailer with some linkage to the brake.

Huh
