If your talking about the front turn signals, their double filament bulbs ,(three wire ,run,- (on always) ,  turn, and  ground) one filament for running lights , the other for turn signals . The rear are single filament for turn only (two wire, - turn and ground).

You can buy control modules that will turn the rear turn signals into running lights, brake lights and flash as turn signals. The model I used on my Ninja Cafe’ bike was about $80.

If you are using the rear turn signals as running and brake lights - they are required to have red lenses.
