OK....Thursday night and I am all packed and ready to go.
I plan on leaving around 6AM on Thursday.....I anticipate arriving at MM's house around 2 PM.
If I can get away from MM's before 8 AM.....I should be at Stew's house around 2 PM on Friday.
Our plan is to leave Stew's by 6 AM to be at Barber's when they start handing out the tickets at 7:30 AM.
Then after Barbers closes on Saturday I will head up north to a hotel in Lewiburg, TN.
On Sunday I will complete my ride home.
I have ridden 300 miles on the Ninja in a single day when it was a normal sport bike - the most I have ridden it since the Cafe' conversion is 160 miles in one afternoon. This may be a "bun buster"!

Dave , I'll be glad to see ya anytime you get here !
We normally have dinner a little after dark , you want fried chicken or sirloin ?
The GS is rideable but not tags and insurance yet.

We're all set down this way. My little brother will be riding the S40 and I will be riding the Ninja, this way we all get to take the quicker bike lanes into the event and get free on-site parking. We made a couple of preparatory rides this week and he's got a good handle on the bike. He'll sleep over Friday night so we can all be ready to head out early Saturday morning.
Based on my last visit to Barber's, I am willing to bet that Dave and I will have the only two Ninja 250s at the event and the only S40. Seems people must be too embarrassed to show up on these little bikes, but not me

Dave is headed South. Currently at the Tennessee river for a fuel stop and a snack. ETA ~1:30pm.

Dave made it here about 230. Took a break and we went out for a tour around Auburn, went out for dinner and just settling in for the night. Wheels up (or down?) at 5am for a 7am arrival at Barbers!!!

Wow
I had no idea it was so big !
Glad ya'll got the kickstands up and the rubber side down alright !
Ya'll plan out how to be "TOUR GUIDES" for the rest of us next year !
Maybe Zip will "Cash-out" by then ... or ... Me and Ruttly can ride behind him blocking sight to his licenes plate ?
