And once it dies then it won’t start back up I think Dave's onto something. And don't let it idle sitting on the sidestand.

I've had it be just the springs ,the J bends in the ends get stretched open a bit. and don't pull the stand all the way in, when it's up . the minute you put the bike in gear it dies.
