Enjoy the fact that you're healthy and able to solve problems.
Thank you Jog, and you are so right......
How often do we wait until our life gets difficult, be it health, relationships, etc, to complain that we don't have (it) anymore, for what we took as granted!
Giving thanks is a most important part, to appreciating each day as the gift it is.....
THANK YOU for this reminder!
BTW, the "boat" community is in many ways a lot like this motorcycle forum.
Those who participate/contribute have a commonality of the bike, and of doing their own repairs, mods, etc.
Sharing the technique stuff is part of the experience and joy of being members here.
These exhaust parts are indeed heavy, you drop a part, that is fiberglass underneath it, YIKES!
I was shared/taught on a boating form of like boats, you should always use a bolt to keep the part in place when removing, installing.
Take for example, that exhaust manifold has 4 big bolts holding it in place.
You remove one bolt, then you screw into the same hole, a LONGER bolt of the same thread, but with the head removed/cut off.....
You follow me?
So when you are done, ready to remove it, you should have 2 bolts, with no heads, holding it up, you can then adjust your body position to get more lifting strength, and just slide the heavy part out over the bolts with no head.....
Ditto to install.
Cool huh
Oh well, I love to chat
But now I gotta go, do, my coffee cup is empty
I will post success and completion hopefully
