OK, let’s ask this question, if I may.....
Not to deflect your post/topic, but to expand upon the gist of it, as in, enlightenment of the usage of this board.

Who/how many, come here for debating and exchanging ideas, as opposed to promoting their rigidly held beliefs.
Not inviting scrunity of their own arguments, ideas, beliefs, but defending, deflecting, obfuscating, faulting others with the same behavior they themselves exhibit?

I believe the ability to answer these questions honestly, will reveal the true nature, failure, or success, of the site.

One final thought/observation.
This electronic communication is ripe with pitfalls, lacking many of the needed elements to have successful dialogue.
Communication is often tough enough “live” engaging others, face to face, depending on topic, environment, etc....
The one great luxury of such however, is squashing misconstrued communications before it “roots” deeply in the other person perception/thoughts.
Just think of how many times in life we have had to “start over” because we, or they, misunderstood something....
I know personally, the number is significant.
However, we were able to rectify it quickly.
I believe that luxury is missing here, and is the root to lots of the dissension.

I once shared of another Internet site, a fishing board, that had a political board, much like this one.
It had many of the same problems and conflicts....
We decided to charter a over night fishing boat, where we were going to spend 24 hours in each other’s company, eating, sleeping, drinking, and fishing together.....
It became a annual event.
30 to 50 guys, having fun, enjoying each other’s company....
The topic of politics rarely arose.
I will leave the reason why, for others to figure out, if they feel the need
