Cant see any oil in the oil viewing window (Read 70 times)

Collinjet YaBB Newbies Offline SuzukiSavage.com Rocks! Posts: 8	Cant see any oil in the oil viewing window 07/24/18 at 20:26:36 I changed my oil today but I cant see it through the oil viewing window. I put 1 3/4 quarts of oil in and I still cant even see any in the viewing window. Any ideas??

What Batman said, but I'll add that with a filter change you'll also need to run the bike for 20 seconds to settle the oil for an accurate check. When the bike had been standing for a long time, the correct oil level is somewhere between the maximum mark and the very tip top of the sight glass.
