Antmanbee: If you don't see a cooling fan, fins or heat sink of some sort....you can be sure that it does not put out enough light to be anything more than a daytime running lamp or parking light.
If you want a headlight that is functional at night - it will make enough heat that it has to be cooled.
MMRanch: Give that light a try at night, and let us know what the beam pattern is like and how well it lights up the road.
Then give the Lasfit light you have another try. It is the best low cost LED I have found, and it has a nice even beam pattern and good low beam cutoff.
First mount the metal base plate in the light assembly and clip the spring:
Then push the rubber dust seal over the metal base. It has a slightly larger OD....so you need to push a little harder to get it seated:
Then insert the LED and rotate it so the wire is pointing down. Then plug it into your wiring harness and turn the headlight low beam on......and rotate the LED until you get the best focus of the low beam cutoff.
I think you will like the light output and pattern from the Lasik better than the one you are currently trying.......those tend to make a very flat and wide beam pattern that doesn't shine down the road very far.
The bulbs can be bought a bit cheaper than when I purchased:
