Old and new.......
05/26/18 at 10:23:07

Well, the old sweetheart boat is gone, I loved that boat, but the new one is quickly growing on me.
My wife is so already in to this boat. She was never hot to sleep on the other, smaller one, but she is already planning it on this one.
So many places to "overnight" here in Pudget Sound.
All the way south to Olympia/Tacoma, up to Vancouver, Canada....
Its like having a 5th wheel on the water, except the gas mileage sucks, and you pay a premium at marine pumps too....
Oh well, the mooring is cheap, about a buck a foot, for overnight, that includes electrical hook-up, and full marina perks, showers, laundry, etc...

Guess the Savage is next to go, then me........haha  Grin

You guys have been a blast.
You helped me in so many ways, THANK YOU.

I have already found a new buddy, on a new board, and guess what, out of all the thousands of folks, he was the first to answer some questions I have on my new boat, he just lives across the water from me, AND.....
He retired from Boeing, what are the chances of that?
He seems a old salt, as he was commodore of a very prestigious yacht club over there.....
Poor guy, he doesn't have a clue to what he is getting into  Grin

Again, just a early thanks, you know who you are, but I will drop in, from time to time, I'm sure, you can never erase what is historical of nature, no matter how hard you try  Kiss

Have a great weekend all !

PS: I will post pictures later, after I clean her up.

B O A T translated means "Bust Out Another Thousand". But, in a way, I do admire your choice; about 4 years ago, I got hot on aviation. It's an awfully expensive way to get a "Gee Whiz" thrill.

Yeah, I knew that going in......
Seems somewhere around 18 foot, boats start to get expensive.
My old boat was sweet, and we liked it, but just too small to really invite others along.
I can fix most everything, so that helps, but just filling up the tank at 100 gallons stings.
However, we won't be going all that far, so it should last, hopefully.
For a 1995, with only 307 hours on a working meter, that is hardly used.
I did order a new carb, waiting for it now.
The choke was sticking, as well as flooding, not a good thing on a inboard.
I will rebuild this one as a spare.
I think I will leave it in the water during summer, not sure yet.

I will have to post some on the water pixs for Dave, he wants to see me in my speedos crabbing  Wink

She had a layer of moss on her, from sitting, as you can see in the last picture of the her aft.....
However, even the cockpit and helm cushions are still about 90% of new condition.....
That is pretty amazing considering her age.

In polite company........a person should never include "speedos" and "crabs" in the same sentence! Shocked

Ray , Have you had your new boat blessed yet ? Ya know by a priest. It is very important to have someone looking out for you & wife other than the coast guard.
