Tank Repair
04/23/18 at 05:47:30

Does anyone know of a decent place to get a tank repaired? The guy I bought my bike from dropped it, broke off one side of the fork stop and dented the tank.
I can get a new one for $500 but I only paid $650 for the bike.
Any input would be appreciated.

Painting and bodywork materials/labor is pretty expensive - especially if you want the paint color matched to a factory color.

Watch eBay, and you will most likely be able to find a tank that can be had for a reasonable price....it might take a while to find one in good shape in the correct color.

Another option is to find a trade/vocational school, and find a young fellow to take on your bike as a project.
