I'm tired of the name calling on this little forum (we have enough of that from our president on Twitter).

Yes, I'm just as guilty as the next guy.  Therefore, let me state the following:

I promise not to call out people on posts as a means to belittle them.

I promise not to name call and use petty personal insults in my responses.

I promise not to hijack threads with topics not related to the original thread.


However, I will call out ignorance.

I will still be snarky about republicans/conservatives/right wingers because I believe that their viewpoint is flawed.

I will call out hypocrisy - in government and on people's views here on this little forum.

I will admit to my mistakes.


Lastly, I won't fool myself into thinking this is anything more than a little forum with about 8 regular posters on it.  It's not even a microcosm - I hope more posters on here realize this.

It's time to lead by example.

NOT say:   "Moron, Stupid, or  Bat $hit Crazy"
When a POV is different than yours.

Or, do you reserve the 'Right' to call someone,

Because you 'take it back'

So does that mean, someone else, can call, YOU,

 If you don't agree with me,
   then you are;  "Moronic, Stupid, or  Bat $hit Crazy"

Can you look up the word: 'hypocrisy' ?
 

funny how a lefty makes the gesture and the right mock him for it...  and I'm sure if TT goes against his civility gesture above those on the other side here will pour on the mocking even more...

I think people right and left get wound up and look at the gesture of the olive branch as fake.

I try never to use name calling, for some of the work I do  I have been called every name in the book.
I know how it is and it to me at least is water off the back.
