If atheism was to become the governing norm, religion could not live within its dictates.

You mean all these Holy wars are fake history, that the Jihadist killing non-believers and of course the "other sect " of Islam are just propaganda so we can have permanent War (the big boys playing in their sandboxes).  Hamas doesn't really want to kill all Jews (only the living ones).  Oh my, all those inquisition heroes will have to be disowned.  
Really, power drives certain people to mass murder using what ever works to get the people lined up and willing..transfer of wealth, our God is Better than their God, etc.

Atheists have morality without having to parse God's bullshit.

So, if we were ALL atheist, by their decree and superiority of all things moral, we would not be in need of laws.

I like that, I only have one remaining question, however.....
