I don't think I understand.

The white conservatives got what they want. All the branches of the federal government are in their hands. So are most of the states.

They've achieved what appears to me as an Idiocracy but hey, there's no denying they won.

They got to bloat the deficit.
They got to cut taxes on the wealthy.
AG Sessions won't say boo no matter how many minorities the cops kill.
Coal barons can poison as much air as they want. Minority votes will be discounted or scrapped.
Abortion clinics are closing.
The oceans will be fished to death.
Our treaties with other nations are now worthless.
Trade wars are brewing.
Those hundreds of thousands of untested rape kits will stay that way.
Prisons will be expanded.
Education cut.
Me Too changed nothing in terms of the rapist in Chief.
Social spending will be slashed.
Non cisgendered people are terrified again.
Incompetence is a virtue.
There's no chance for socialized medicine.
Immigration is way down.
CAFE standards are done for.
We're well on our way to theocracy.
Putin can do no wrong.
And no matter what those kids do, there won't be meaningful gun control introduced at the federal level.

And still they moan. Now it's that the parkland kids are mean. Seriously?

The whole darn middle of the country is turning into West Virginia. Jesus, what more do they want?

 I think the real problem is that unless money is dropped into our laps, our taxes are eliminated and we are promised the government wont ever influence our lives - we wont be happy enough to stop sitting around complaining.
