Anyone out there have this windshield? The price is right, but unsure of the fit or quality.

Just installed it on my Savage... works reasonably well for a small shield.  Very little buffeting.
I like that it's easy to uninstall, as I'm not a big fan of shields in general, but for longer, high speed rides they're a big help.

I have the smoke version. Been riding it for 5 years and like it.  FYI - I am a short guy so I cut mine down about 1.5" off the top so I could see slightly over the top where the top rim wasn't sitting in m sight line.

Looks like Serow has his mounting brackets upside down (or rightside up if you ask him  Wink) so his sits much lower than mine.  If I go any lower the lower corners hit my tank on a full turn, but maybe if I flipped the brackets and went beyond the level of the tank and step it out some it'll clear.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm......

What's the distance from the headlight bucket to top of the shield?
My Wife's S40 has the OEM shield on it that measures 14.5" which is a bit short for her liking.

I just ordered the windshield, it's going to be in Friday. Thanks for the help! Smiley
