Odd carburetor

Giving the carburetor an overhaul to check gaskets, rubber membrane, jets and other tuning parts, I find some small deviations from things described on this forum.
24C3 and E4X is written on the body
1. The white plastic spacer is 2 mm thick. It show no signs of being tampered with. No abrasive marks or anything. Looks stock.
Lancer indicate a 5 mm thickness. Is this carburetor specific?
2. Main jet: 130 and pilot jet 47.5
Clymer service book list 3 different carburates and 3 different sets of jets. None of them with a 130/47.5 configuration.
150/50 is suggested as a good starting point.
It seems a bit drastic as theres a long way from 130 to 150.

What to do???

That helps......the fuel that you burn in Denmark likely has very little in common with the fuel we have in the US.

The carb and jetting can be very different globally.

Some carbs have plastic spacers to limit the travel of the slide....some have little electric switches that we believe retard the timing at full throttle, and the jetting numbers can vary.

So there's no way to set a standard, and the only way to get it right is by trial and error.
Long and tidy Cheesy
Here the most common fuel is 95 octane and I think 5-10 % ethanol added.

Thanks Smiley

I believe the 130 is canadian and EU standard notation.
I believe it's due to different units of measurement.

You could just arrange to have the carb jets and fuel imported. Wink

Or take a plain when I need refueling...

The bike was running, but not good. The gas was old and the vacuum hose to the pet thingy was leaking. I can't tell which was what.
Right now the bike is torn apart. I snapped an exhaust bolt removing the exhaust to check the cam chain.
Helicoil time... darn!
Cam chain is app. 127.3 mm, so within specs. But might as well replace it while I have my hands inside the guts.

Edit: Lmao, I can't write petcock in two words?!   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
