WOW.....from the New York Times.

It won't let me C&P the story, you'll have to open the link, sorry.

The article is by David Brooks, titled: The Decline of the Anti-Trumpism

Which he states he is a member.

I have said from almost the beginning, the left has been going after Trump the wrong way.
He is now pointing that out.

Its no difference than being intolerant, toward those you label as intolerant....

That doesn't work.

Had some good dialogue last night at work along these lines....

From that site.

“…I mention these inconvenient observations because the anti-Trump movement, of which I’m a proud member, seems to be getting dumber. It seems to be settling into a smug, fairy tale version of reality that filters out discordant information. More anti-Trumpers seem to be telling themselves a “Madness of King George” narrative: Trump is a semiliterate madman surrounded by sycophants who are morally, intellectually and psychologically inferior to people like us …”

Gee, do you think that describes some who posts here ????

“ … a smug, fairy tale version of reality …”

Are the, ‘Haters’, running out of, ‘Fairy Dust” ?

I think you read a little too much into his testimony....
Dumb, as in it’s not working or paying dividends, not as in stupid.
It is poor strategy, or policies.

Look, Trumps method is like a lineman on a football team trying to goad the opposition into losing his cool and committing a foul, take him off his game plan, etc....
That was his truck on TV, and most likely deployed in some of his business negotiations.
I don’t like it, but again, everyone tries technics that they feel able to ultilize best.

Well my opinion would be,
if the  ‘Hate’ at ALL  costs.’
Is shown to be,  NOT working,
and will not work.
And it has been Shown/Proven/Realized,
that their are some things, much better.

And people, who, Continue to:
 “Hate at ALL Costs”
And Get their Information from,
“… their information about Trumpism from others who also detest Trumpism,…”
And they, simply, Ignore, the things that Are, Better.

I would say, "Yea, that’s, Stupid”.

Please keep in mind how goading works.
The left wing media, resisters, never trumpers, etc, react to his taunts that are born from that dumber/stupid “previous” statement(s).

Now, let’s look at who is benefiting off of this “exchange”.

You wanna guess?

It’s the media and news outlets.
From paper to the internet, it’s all earning record revenue.

It is almost like PT Barnum is alive and well.
The big tent is gone, but the results are the same.
Trump, as well as the media, are using one another to increase their own power from the dupes who use to depart from the coin in their pockets by those playing in their emotions.
