I hit the wall. I have recently bought the voltage regulator. The new terminal has two connections. The old terminal has three connections. Do you think it’s ground cable? Still safe to use?  :'(

There are two parts of the part that you have in your hands; a rectifier and a voltage regulator.

On the input side of the R/R you have three yellow wires. These are the AC lines from the three legs of the stator. The rectifier takes the three phase AC (100+vac) and converts it (rectify) to DC.

On the output side there are two positive wires and a negative; a positive (red) and a switched positive (orange/black) and a negative (black). The DC output is regulated to 14.2-14.8 VDC.

Can you provide a better photo of the R/R itself, showing all of the wires? Is there no negative wire from the R/R?

It looks like your eBay R/R is missing the orange/black switched lead. As verslagen has pointed out, it's a redundant circuit and not necessary.

As a side note, I generally don't trust electronics purchased through eBay. There is always a good chance that they are import copies of the genuine article. Sometimes this is clear in the description, sometimes it isn't. I would suggest that you perform a voltage check on the output side at idle and 4,000 rpm. You should see 14.2 to 14.8 VDC at the output. Anything less and you will discharge the battery due to charging system inability to replenish the battery. A higher voltage will over charge the battery and shorten it's life.
