Making Public Lands Public?
12/12/17 at 11:09:56

So our "wonderful" president wants to make public lands public again by... making them private????

Earlier this month Donald Trump hailed his edict slashing Utah’s Bears Ears National Monument by some 85 percent as a great move for American citizens.

What's worse - he's letting some "wonderful" corporations mine for uranium!!

You can't make this $hit up!!   It's like a Fellini film!

Your righties in action:

(ryan) Zinke has insisted the president’s push to reduce national monuments has nothing to do with mining interests. “This is not about energy,” Zinke told reporters last week. “There is no mine within Bears Ears.”

But the president’s redrawn boundaries of Bears Ears now puts the uranium deposits outside the protected area, Utah’s Republican Gov. Gary Herbert pointed out in an interview with the Post.

Yeah, I'm sure the Native American contingent on here LOVES the idea...
Just read this and weep:

Is this how you MAGA?  NO, it's not!!

Is their a need
  for this Country
     to re-build it’s pile of uranium ?

          If so, Why ?

If such a need exists.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the,
‘giving away’, (for a  personal ‘donation’),
       the, ‘last’ pile.
by a former  SOS & a former  POTUS ?

So... nothing to add, genius?

Pretty pathetic ray - you say you're Native American but act like a stupid "good ol' boy"... is that the profile you're going for?  If so, you've succeeded!   Grin

Are you calling me a cracker or offering me one?

Your analogies are about as nonsensical as you.

I guess you can't admit you have nothing to say.... oh well... no surprise.

Ohhh the HORROR!
America IMPORTS uranium.
Why?
For the power production we all need.
Gee, imagine the pain of NOT being forced to pay the price others would charge.
And how much of the Trade Deficit is represented BY importing uranium?
How many JOBS does it create?
And HOW exactly is it NOT public to open the area to a Public Company?
You're all outrage and butthurt and no grasp of reality.
Go cry somewhere else.

Yeah, you're not teachable.
You want to make a point?
I COUNTERED your slobbering whining butthurt post.
Argue with that.
Or maybe you can't.
I'll bet you aren't smart enough to argue with me.
How is it NOT public allowing a
Public Company to mine it?
You don't know squat about private property rights.

He probably expected swingsets and slides and teeter totters.
