I am not inferring this person literally meant to shoot them, however, we need to think a little more about how we express ourselves....

I think putting blood in the water and not expecting it to rise the emotions of sharks, is irresponsible, at best.

Yea, about 99.8% sure that would happen.
Just as the opposite:  Like a person driving a Chevy Spark, with multi colored hair, rings in the nose, and lip, with a bumper sticker saying, ‘I Love Hillary’, going to  Huntsville TX.  
Would be starred down, totally shunned, sit at a cafe, (or go someplace else), and get no service.

Then, they will DO, as what they, Think they are  TOLD  to Do.
