Dave's as close as possible considering the lack of real information. If you're not the guy to open up the carburetor, try Sea Foam.

Personally, I think they were jetted lean from the factory to suffice the idiotic laws in California - especially at the low end (idle and about up to 1/4 throttle)

Do the idle jet mod really helped mine (drill out plug, and re-adjust out a bit), and I expect to get into the carb this month and do a jet needle lift which will help the idle to 1/4 throttle "surging" which is from being too lean.
