What's that extension on back of your front fender?
Thanks Tocsik, that's the look I was going for! I've been really inspired by the bobbers on this site, but don't have the funds or experience to build one (especially from my only bike, and daily ride).
I decided to simply tweak everything I could manage, in that direction. I started with the notion of trimming it all down (removing chrome, smaller lights etc, and I was going to do a solo seat, but the high, long, stock rear fender guided me in a different direction ... that, and a desire to personalize the ergonomics. I also set out to remove any of the chrome parts I could, but ended up putting some other shiny stuff on.
At the end of the day I chose to work with the bike as it is rather than wishing it was something else. I'm pleasantly surprised how much these somewhat small changes have combined to change the bike so much.
As for the extension on the front fender, I'm pretty sure it's just stock for the 2015. It was like that when I bought it.
