Suzuki Boulevard S40

hi, I am having Suzuki boulevard S40 Model 2009.
Can you please confirm what is the guage / thread size of the oil drain plug? Is it M12 x 1.25 or M14 x 1.5!or what??

Part number of Drain bolt is 09247-14026...

Anybody??

Looking at DennisKirk, it says

Dimensions:
Thread Size: 14 x 1.25mm
Thread Length: 1/2 in.
Installed Length with Magnet: .61 in.
Hex Size: 14mm

Hi Stewmills,

I would like to clarify that is 1.25 the spacing between threads? and secondly if the length of bolt with magent is 0.3 inch is that also okay?

I never measured mine, but I doubt that the head size AND the body size are both 14mm.

Yeah, that's just what the website says. I didn't measure mine, but IIRC my head size is 14mm, taking a 14mm socket wrench to remove.  I have a thread gauge, but can't afford to remove my plug and lose all the oil to measure the thread size. Sorry.

I think their website reference may be wrong as other references I now see indicate a M12 x 1.25 thread with 14mm hex head, 20mm thread length.
