S40 K&N Air Filter will damage your bike
Yep as amazing as it sounds it's way too big and it will NOT seal.
Here's a photo see for yourself it squashes against the top of the housing and because it's flexible unlike the OEM filter it bends backwards and does not seal.

I know you feel this is a bad product... doesn't fit... will destroy the bike and and and...
But I have had in my bike for several years and so have many others.
I appreciate your opinion, but it's just that, get over it.

Have you noticed any improvement in the way the engine runs after installing the K&N? Seems like a good idea if it allows the engine to breathe better.

I'm with you on this one. How can it be working if it doesn't seal? Also, just because people have used it for several years, doesn't mean that it is working correctly.
In some applications I know of, K&N filters weren't as good as originals even when they were working properly.
I guess we should "just get over it." ????

Take out the filter altogether then the engine will breath a LOT better!
