How about taking a roofing nail and scuff the head up good, cut it off and super glue it on the front tire?

What about one of the bolts on the inside of the rear belt pulley? They hold the ring on the back side of the pulley. mine have the recessed head like you show. Just a thought and there are quite a few of them.

Those bolts are very short....not 1 inch long.

I've found bolts in the road when I rode my ten speed hours a week. I never found a bolt, then a car in pieces down the road. No rattles, no leaks, no biggie.
