This is so life, bemoan, obfuscate, or suit up.
Which pitcher or quarterback wants to come out of the game?
Allowing them to dicide is folly.
The manger with input from the team, decides.

This really could be the start of swamp monsters replacement  Grin

They need to redefine their party and wisely choose good leadership.  They still have Pelosi in a senior level position and she doesn't know who the President is.  If one would ask them the difference between Democrat and a socialist, I don't think they could define either let alone the difference.

Best regards,

JUST - US  Democrats

The party is to far gone to the left, IHMO.  I will concede the JD is their only hope.

I concur.  As the right has gone too far right as well.

I sincerely hope that the midterms bring back true conservatism and true progressivism.

true conservatism and true progressivism

Not sure what you mean by that......
However, the "true" qualifier gives me pause.
If these two factions believe their cause as paramount to all others, as in "true", then we get what, more warring at all cost?

I hope we get honest folk, who can share their ideas, accept critiquing of them, and not take things personal....
We need leadership who can work together without demagoguery and character assassination, etc.

Those who can find the best fix, based on merit, not on some formula that is going to promote one, over another, and pretend its fixed.

Instead of taking a piece of the pie from one, giving it to another, or cutting smaller pieces, lets see if we can make a BIGGER pie, for all.

Its really not the politicians, per se, but these idiots who react to the media, etc, and fight one another of opposing views, while the real thief's
sneak out....

Hold YOUR party responsible, that is key!

IMHO, conservatism should be focused on the fiscal.  Not the social.  A true fiscal conservative would be against all welfare programs, not just for the poor.  But - for decades we've seen companies like exxon get huge amounts of money in the form of corporate welfare.

At the same time - democrats need to stop being so hypocritical when it comes to how they set policy. Big donors buy and sell them like cattle at an auction.  Further, they need to adopt a truly progressive platform and fully support it - medicare for all, etc.

I hope we get honest folk, who can share their ideas, accept critiquing of them, and not take things personal....

I have to disagree - to continue the metaphor - there's only so much pie.  In order for some to have a bigger piece, others have to give up some of their gigantic pieces.

Its really not the politicians, per se, but these idiots who react to the media, etc, and fight one another of opposing views, while the real thief's

Somewhat agree - yet those "idiots" are the ones that vote.  They listen to the loudest voice and sometimes don't think about the long term (our current president as the best case-in-point)

Hold YOUR party responsible, that is key!

Yes and no - I say hold ALL parties responsible.  Even though I didn't vote for my president - I'm sure as heck going to hold him responsible.

I think your observation have merit, however, I think you try and bite off too big of piece of that pie.....
Maybe if we nibble first.
We didn't get here overnight, nor will it change quickly
