Was just reading an interesting about NK and it posed the question: Put yourself in the President's seat, or France, England etc....

What do you do about NK?

Do nothing and you risk them getting more and more nuclear capable. Do to much, and you force a nutty, childish  dictator  into a temper-tantrum response that could kill couple million South Koreans in 10 minutes.

Seems to me that China has a Really BIG interest in what NK does. Do they want to see incoming nukes on the border?
They either agree with NK or not.
Hopefully, they are against NK getting the capacity to attack. If they really are against it, then Kim will have a heart attack.
As much intrigue and drama as I've seen created by TPTB to gen up support for more war, and as much as NK looks like an ant stinging a giant, thinking it's gonna kill it and drag it home, only to find itself crushed between finger and thumb, I find the whole scenario implausible unless Kim is actually suicidal or diagnosed with a terminal illness.
I have not Seen anything, only reports.
And I've Seen reports that were used for starting wars, and the Reports were found to have been Lies.

Whatever the solution it will involve rely heavily on China, as they are the one's that prop NK up...
And Tweety hasn't done much to help out relations there...

I believe, NK & China, are a lot like,  ‘Little Johnny and his Mom’.

Mom:  ‘Johnny, we are going to Grams house in about a hour, but you can play in the sandbox with your trucks till we go’.

10 min later, mom, looks out the window, and her little Johnny, is playing with his trucks, splashing them trough a mud puddle.
She sighs, knowing she will have to spend time to clean him up.
But she just lets him play a bit longer, before she calls him in, to clean him up.

Ben Franklin once said: "If you give up a freedom, for the sake of security, you will have neither".
Which is More TRUE, today, than yesterday.('06, S-40, Stock) well, mostly .
