Pitting on stator cover
07/05/17 at 17:06:41
Question #2.
Father-in-law's Savage has a bit of pitting/corrosion on stator cover (left-side engine case). My '03 DR650 did the same thing, so I suspect it's a symptom of crappy Suzuki finishing. Nevertheless, I wonder: Is there a way to clean it up?

Yeah, labor intensive, and it's not gonna stay unless you Really get serious,
I tried fixing the 05, it looked great, for two years.
Ride it, have fun.
My New 02 model isn't Show bike fine. But it's tons of fun.
