Father-in-law's Savage has a bit of pitting/corrosion on stator cover (left-side engine case). My '03 DR650 did the same thing, so I suspect it's a symptom of crappy Suzuki finishing. Nevertheless, I wonder: Is there a way to clean it up?

Ride it, have fun. My New 02 model isn't Show bike fine. But it's tons of fun.
