Here is a $6.99 waterproof pouch on a strap that can be easily added to the inside of your windshield such that a charging cable can easily reach from items stored inside it to your handlebar USB socket. This allows you to charge your stuff while riding around and to keep it safe from flying rain water during a shower event.

Kudos to Dave for reminding us we need to have a safe rain-proof way to charge our stuff during road trips.

And here is what it looks like from the front of the bike ..... the pouch folds over the top of the speedo and the top of it is kept somewhat away from any rain flow past the headlight.

Water flies all over the bike during a rainstorm, so a for real triple sealing weather proof pouch is needed to protect your electronics from rain and I would suggest putting the charger cable away too, and putting the rubber cap in place over the USB connection if it is raining.
