Posts: 180 fort myers fl	plastic melt on crome pipe ,HELP 06/22/17 at 14:38:30 tried most solvents including break cleaner, alcohol,and mek. nothing works it was a nylon shoelace that melted on the hot pipe. scraped it off while still viscus with a razor knife still left a nasty mess. what might be a good solvent? thanks
