And I bet those buckets will last 20+ years!
Don't overlook that one of their key 'tools' is a piece of RR track. I have about a 12" piece in my shop and it comes in handy!

Doesn't the train miss that 12" piece of track? Is it like a R/R pothole when the train goes over the missing piece?

Painted a piece of 2x4 and put it in its place. They'll never know!
Actually a friend that I help out a lot got it for me. Lot of RR work in town close to his house so he ran over and got us both a piece of scrap per my 'suggestion'

RR track is Juust radioactive enough to detect. Haul it to any junkyard that runs you through the uprights and they will refuse you.
Learning to build a bucket is on my bucket list.
