The majority of the carbs used to have screws that could be adjusted by hand - the idle speed and fuel mixture screws had knurled ends that you could turn with your fingers.

If they make one that fits the CV carb on the Savage - at that price it would be worth having.....and it could help to prevent the screw slot in the soft brass from stripping and requiring you to drill the old one out.

As long as it don't stumble on it's way to WFO who cares about idle?

No dice. If anyone determines otherwise I'd pay $20 for one.
