Hi,
I was curious if anyone had the opportunity or maybe heard of someone that have use the "Trackside Air Fuel Mixture Screw" on their LS650, or any other moto for that matter... There seem to be some mix reviews out there.

Here is a link to the one I'm looking at:

Thanks

The majority of the carbs used to have screws that could be adjusted by hand - the idle speed and fuel mixture screws had knurled ends that you could turn with your fingers.

If they make one that fits the CV carb on the Savage - at that price it would be worth having.....and it could help to prevent the screw slot in the soft brass from stripping and requiring you to drill the old one out.

really trackside idle screw has limited benefit, this jet only effective the 1st 1/8 of throttle twist.  As long as it don't stumble on it's way to WFO who cares about idle?

Yeah, I remember finding those and looking intently to see if one would fit ours. No dice.  If anyone determines otherwise I'd pay $20 for one.

These were made for races as many of the tracks they travel to are at different elevations ,there of limited use for us ,as we tune for the location we live at generally.
