No, I don't think so. Do you recall what mitch mcconnel said about Obama? He said their main objective was to make him a one term president. Further, why is it that over half of tweety supporters think that Obama is a Muslim?
Obama had his share of detractors for sure. But he didn't have the entire elected and unelected Washington establishment - regardless of party affiliation - conspiring to take him down. He was one of them. A member of the club. Trump most assuredly is not.
True - and that would be fine if tweety were half way competent. Think about WHY he's so despised... He's abandoned his campaign promises, he's filled the swamp and he's enacting draconian tax cuts for the wealthy. He pissed off the GOPer base, now he's trying to get back in... Then, look at the blatant hypocrisy... the vacations, the flip-flops, the horrible foreign relations, etc. There's plenty of reasons he's got the lowest approval ratings....And Obama had for the most part a fawning, sycophantic media.

I'm not sure where you see venomous press... the main reason he got elected was because of the billion dollars worth of free press he got. The problem with him now is that all the crap he said on the campaign trail was pretty much all lies and lip service.Certainly Trump brings some of that upon himself because he refuses to kiss the media folks a*s and play by their "rules", but to suggest that Obama was treated like Trump has been ,either by his peers in DC or the media, or by his political opponents in the rest of the country, is nonsense.
