8 Men
06/14/17 at 05:21:52

Eight men own the same wealth as the 3.6 billion people who make up the poorest half of humanity, according to a new report published by Oxfam today to mark the annual meeting of political and business leaders in Davos.

https://www.oxfam.org/en/pressroom/pressreleases/2017-01-16/just-8-men-own-sa...

Bill Gates: America founder of Microsoft (net worth $75 billion)

Amancio Ortega: Spanish founder of Inditex which owns the Zara fashion chain (net worth $67 billion)

Warren Buffett: American CEO and largest shareholder in Berkshire Hathaway (net worth $60.8 billion)

Carlos Slim Helu: Mexican owner of Grupo Carso (net worth: $50 billion)

Jeff Bezos: American founder, chairman and chief executive of Amazon (net worth: $45.2 billion)

Mark Zuckerberg: American chairman, chief executive officer, and co-founder of Facebook (net worth $44.6 billion)

Larry Ellison: American co-founder and CEO of Oracle  (net worth $43.6 billion)

Michael Bloomberg: American founder, owner and CEO of Bloomberg LP (net worth: $40 billion)

1.  5 out of the 6 are strongly support the left.  How about that....
2.  Do you think they want to have their wealth redistributed by the gubberment?
3.  I do believe at least two families are not on the list, but that is an arbitrary point.  I would like to know why the Rothchilds & the English Royal family are never on those kinds of lists.

Best regards,

"Warren Buffett is the one who's gone out and said somebody like him should not be paying a lower tax rate than his secretary," Clinton said.

Quote:
Urging major tax changes, Buffett has repeatedly said he pays a lower tax rate than his secretary and other employees.

In 2007, Buffett told NBC Nightly News that he pays a smaller tax rate than multiple employees in his office.

In 2011, Buffett wrote an op-ed in the New York Times called "Stop Coddling the Super-Rich." In the article, Buffett said that his taxes amounted to "only 17.4 percent of my taxable income — and that’s actually a lower percentage than was paid by any of the other 20 people in our office."

ALL THAT MUNNEE!!!
And they are lefties, but are they building homes for our veterans? No? Because they hate the military? Because lefties are peacenicks? Well, except Obama and his sycophants, who SOMEHOW MANAGED to justify destroying Libya, the Only functional socialist experiment that was working,,
How many refugees are those humanitarian assholes providing for?
How much of the military intervention we have engaged in benefits their portfolios?
I don't HAVE a problem with someone getting steenking RICH, but How they do it matters.
And if they use their money to buy favor from government, they And the Seller Of the favor can go to jail.

We have trillions in debt,... and instead of going where the money is (the rich), we are trying to squeeze blood from a turnip for cash...
Lower taxes for the rich?... Sure, that'll fix it... Roll Eyes

How about we quit the military intervention?
And what makes stealing the successful business person s money right?
Besides, we can Do whatever we want. TT said that debt was not a problem. We can import more people into a nation with economic problems and it won't be a problem.
I'm sure that as soon as we solve the Rest of the World's problem we will start taking care of our own.

The libs don't believe in trickle down, only trickle up.
Tax rebates to the poor equal instant consumerism.
Tax rebates to the rich equal cash flow for growth for delayed impact.
Of course there is a balance where more/less taxes/regulations equal greater earnings/benefits for all.
