Still only 12 minutes Justin. Lol. So seriously about how long should someone spend on this type of job on average? If they were taking the time to do it right?

No idea. Depends on the Start point, and experience.
If START equals
Forks on the bench
And experience is sufficient to Not hafta study every step, it's gonna go at a good clip.
If you have never done it, hafta build tools and Move Slow, like me, that could be an all day sucker.

If someone has the ability to disassemble and Do the job, they just screwed up on the one step they really shouldn't have, then by Correcting That Mistake is all you have to do.
They owe you the work, if you paid for it.
You should be right there every second.

FWIW, a woman from Hawaii did hers, alone, all by herself.
She was just about able to do anything.. Wish she would move in next door.

You should be able to do it comfortably in a day.
Read, watch, work, post, post answered, etc.

In a hurry, know what you're doing, tools on hand, couple of hours.

or if two people ( working separately and at totally separate times) actually managed to put seals in upside down.

In your OP you mentioned that the letters on the seals were visible. I can't remember ever seeing an oil seal with the dimensions and brand mark on the inside of the seal so if that's the case, they should be up the right way already? If it's upside down, you'll see a cavity between the outer wall of the seal and the inner sealing surface. There'll also be a spring running around the inside wall of the seal. Got a photo of it before you start tearing down? Just for our interest.

So the seals weren't upside down. Pretty sure they were bad seals. I had an extra set of for tubes and used those (just to be safe) with some new seals. Been on for several days and no problems.. well no problem from those. I have a brand new problem I'll be asking about later today. One day this thing will be right. Lol
