I tried Harbor Freight. They have two, neither of which will work with the Zuki :'( I am thinking that a front wheel chock is probably the best solution. I have a floor jack but it is a bit of a performance to use.

Reply #5 - 05/29/17 at 21:01:10 floor jack under the muff mount will lift the rear just fine. when I lift the front, 2 jack stands, 1 under the right footpeg, 1 under the left motor mount bolt.

The cuts will work on a ryca cafe build, not all may not be needed for a stock bike being the foot controls are in different locations.

The bracket for the muffler looks very flimsy to me. You have had no bending down there?

When I first got my bike I tried that and it seemed to bend the bracket so I stopped lifting. It is the perfect place to lift the rear if it is sturdy enough.

Home Depot has some small blocks with 8' of line which I might try. I can sling them from the garage ceiling. Great for oil changes etc. Not sure about lifting the weight of the entire rear.

And, if it's good enough for the mechanical wizards on this list, then it's good enough for me

I recently went through the bike lifting issue. I read a bunch on the forum and weighed my options and chose to buy a craftsman bike lift.

The next day I met a guy who rode his 125 Yamaha up from Argentina, on his way to Alaska. He was having trouble with his rear drum brake, so I took him to my house and we lifted his bike and fixed it. So the first time I used my lift was on somebody else's bike Cheesy
