No, I will be both ambulatory and mobile enough, but once I take my nite nite dose of meds you could do me up as Dolly Parton and I wouldn't wake up once.*

Plan to bring the big tent, but you will know where to find me on Thursday morning.

You can count on me being all mellow and agreeable in the evenings, since that too is a side effect of the painkillers.

What will be dangerous is if I start to feeling  normal or GOOD again -- I get frisky when I don't hurt all the time.

*Just do remember about the axe/crutch, it is very very shaving class sharp ......  and I might jest dream I used it to discourage a ogre or a werewolf or something that was messing with me.

I just found out that I have City Council meeting both Tuesday and Wednesday nights.....so tonight is when I will need to get most of my packing done, the trailer loaded up with the bike and other gear....and somehow get my grass cut! Shocked

The current weather forecast couldn't be any better!  I can live with 90 degrees as long as dry weather is included.  (I consider 91 to be "hot" - but in the forecast they refer to that as "warm").

Found the perfect little portable Savage garage at my local Sam's club last night. On clearance for $20.  Didn't really need it but couldn't pass it up.

I should print up some stickers that say
"I know Dave"
"I know MM Ranch"
"I know OldFeller"
"I know Stew"

...and we give them all to Mo to stick up behind her bar.  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Mo is so easy to like !  Smiley

She gave me a "I Know Mo " bumper sticker to put on my bike last time ... it stayed on for a couple months.

Stew , you won't make me mad by giving Mo a sticker with me on it .  Cool

No you won't need to bring one.  At a minimum I am bringing a tent that will hold 2 people, and we can get you and Oldfeller in it.  Then when Stewmills arrives he will be bringing a 2 man tent, and I will either stay with him or sneak over to my trailer to sleep.  I just can't convince myself to set up the big tent for a 3 night stay - my wife's physical therapist scolded her for doing too much with her healing broken wrist....so I don't believe she is yet ready to help me set up the big tent to clean and dry when I return home.

I'll have my big tent. It's pretty easy to set up (4 poles) so even though I'll be arriving in the dark we should be able to get that and the pop-up canopy (a.k.a. bike garage) up pretty quickly and easily.

The long term consequences of not being gentle with broken bones aren't fun. Let the bones knit together.
You wouldn't want to wiggle the fender on your Revel Chevy every few minutes until the glue dried, woodja?
