Believe it or not, we've been here a lot longer than you.
In fact, this section of the site was basically made for JOG.
Our experience on this site has led to a certain knowledge.
The only way we can change our POV is if you explain yourself.
Most won't except the partisan fake news as fact, but it is a beginning.
Otherwise we might as well shout "less filling" vs "tastes great" till the sky falls.

Justice Democrats are hard core, soft socialist/communist liberals; a hair above the occupy wall street crowd. They are on the fringes of the mask wearing, rock throwing mobs. A bit too cowardly to throw a rock, but they want their 60's protest moments since they missed all that fun. They would call themselves progressive idealist, but they are clueless, Bernie Sanders groupies.

I had to look it up myself.
Justice Democrats seem to be Democrats that want to get the big corporate money out of government.
I'm all for that.

I think the best thing to get the money out of politics would be to undo Citizens United, and to make paid lobbyists illegal.
Lobbying could only be done by citizens concerned enough about an issue to invest their time without financial compensation.
Government is for the people not for corporate interests.

Only unpaid citizens huh? So our dues to the AMA that hire lobbyists who petition congressmen to protect our riding rights are outlawed in your world? When my company participates in conferences where decision makers at the FDA are present, we can't talk to them? You think Planned Parenthood would go along with that?

Actually, PP is a perfect example why CU is a good thing. If PP were prohibited from lobbying Congress, no problem for them as they would just let the news media so their lobbying for them. And that's a main point for CU. Without organized efforts, the nly causes that matter to congrss will be whatever the media decides to put on the nightly news. Again, it was the Swift Boat Veterans who helped start this whole discussion. John Kerry was trying to rely on the media to cover his lies but a group funded by a bunch of Republican billionaires got the truth out.

If we had a fair media, CU might not be needed ,but that ship has sailed.
