What do you guys use to keep bike thieves away? Any of you using the front disc brakes locks I see advertised?

Your bike isn't a hot ticket item(it's not a Harley or a ninja) ,and the truth is two guys could pick up your bike and toss it in the back of a truck in a heart beat.the best you can do is lock it inside a garage or shed ,chain it to a tree or pole .but "locks only keep the good people out".

when I leave it parked out and about I put.a big kryptonite lock in th  front disc. At home I leave it in the backyard.. it's a decoy, hopefully they will be so excited they won't find the Ducatis locked away in the shed. Wink
anyway, I haven't lost it yet. I hope I don't.

least stolen bike

if it gets stolen it's by an amateur and you'll find it parked at the pawn shop.

Or park it next to a Harley, right?

I am not worried at home- my driveway is a quarter mile long, so  the bike is always out of sight, even when not in my locked and alarmed barn.

More worried when parked in town, but as it has been pointed out, the bike is probably light enough for a couple of guys to toss it in the back of a pick up truck! Not being a popular choice for bike thieves is a blessing, right?

Just beware of post menopausal males and old age pensioners attempting to steal it. Don't leave it near retirement villages or old people homes.

Had a dream once someone stole my BSA , found the bike , killed the thief and hid his body under his house , rode my BSA back home !

You might want to find another house to steal a motorcycle from !!!

Unfortunately many potential thieves live in their own homes, beware of parking in areas with a heavy 50 plus year old population, ride where there are large numbers of eighteen to thirty five year olds on crotch rockets, their dust screen will conceal you and your bike.
