Hey All, In going through forum I have run across posts and discussion about a bike built by member Arteacher in Canada. It appears he is not really active anymore. I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find link to photos he posted of the build when finished. The discussions were back in 14, links in discussion don't appear to work, could be due to my OS. There is a lot of commentary that it was a pretty spectacular looking build in a chopper way. Arteacher hasn't posted in over a year, would it be inappropraite to reach out to him directly via email, if forum link to it still works. Thanks.

From the discussions reviewed I looked into the AME kit. As all know it's from overseas and pricey. I looked at the kit from ChopperSupply (ChopperKit) problem is they have no pictures of what the 9º kit looks like installed. I reached out to ChopperSupply directly and they said they have no pictures, in same email I asked if they have ever sold one they ddin't answer that question. The 14º is a little too much for me. I was hoping the kit Arteacher used was AME 9º.

I am under the impression the AME kit and the one ChopperSupply sells are different? I thought I also saw that there is another Suzuki model you can swap the triple trees with and slightly increase rack.

I will shot him an email and see what happens. he was involved in forum for quite a while so hopefully he will want to pass on some insight.

I just had some surgery last week and am laid up for several weeks at home, may not be able to ride for 3 months, so looking to use this time do do the work on bike you never seem to find the time for when you can ride.

I did think about disassembly, cut and weld. It has it's advantages, and there are those who will say you have to cut it to make it a chopper, but it also is a major commitment of time and energy. It would certainly be more viable if I had another ride. Also though I can weld and have a tig machine, not sure if I would trust my skills on my frame, so I would need to farm that out.

There is a mod out there where, the impression I got from the threads, is the person just put longer tubes in and raised the front end, though I wouldn't want to effect the level of the bike. Like mentioned there was also a passing discussion that you can substitute new trees from another model, I think Highway Hawk is the company that will actually sell you new trees to do that. Apparently though it's not a straight up, bolt on mod, so they don't list the trees as fittting an LS650 or S40, though the interface of the trees to frame is apparently the same.

At this point though, that's probably a better discussion for Rubber Side Down. Having 4 surgeries in 3 months hope you are alright, just this one has kicked my butt.
