Clearances inside the clutch cover
05/01/17 at 09:36:19
I have some marks inside my Savages clutch cover, seems like the tensioner is hitting the cover and making noise, too.
Measured 11mm from the gasket surface to the marks.

Similar experiences or anybody has a cover that could be measured?

Just asking this because my cover has been welded and I don't know if it's been modified more shallow, would really appreciate if someone who has a cover could measure the clearance between the gasket surface and the oil passages behind the filter.
If it's the cover causing the hitting, I'll buy a used one. If it's not, then I guess I have to bent the chain guide or something.
