This weekend was at a Dog event.
(GASP, Shooting Birds)

In this small group of a breed of dogs, I am known as a, ‘Conservative’.
A Lady, (From Seattle WA), who is considered a, liberal.
(The group, was about 1/2 - 1/2)
She said: ‘Ya know some day, my grand Daughter, will be free to get a, free, Abortion, any time she wants, for any reason”.

I said: “Maybe so, but then, she, will also be able to put, YOU, to Sleep”.
(1/2 the group, just turned and left)

(For those, (who say they are), from the City, that the, ‘gun’ Murders, are everyone else's fault)

I think it's funny that you see everything in black and white. You're right - a liberal only agenda would be terrible. Just as a strictly conservative one would be. Just as a socialistic one would be. Just as ANY single agenda would be.

You're so busy stomping your foot down at the "terrible liberal agenda" that you're blind to see that NO ONE SYSTEM is perfect.

I happen to like the liberal offerings like Social Security, Medicare, unemployment, public schools and the like. I also like the conservative takes on waste in government, a strong military and tax reform (ONLY for the middle class).

So when people equate liberalism to marxism - I laugh. There are obvious differences - and yes, there are some similarities. But there are also aspect of marxism that the cons love too - social standards control. A hard line conservative agenda would seek to reform the social standards (religion in government, etc.). A marxist agenda would seek to do the same thing - control the social standards - how about that?

Let it go. This country will NEVER be run by a single ideology. If it does, we cease to be the United States. It will never happen.
