What part of the install are you questioning?  I installed one last week, but it was as simple as pulling th eold out and putting the new in.

If you have never used a battery with that style post you may need to bend your connector slightly, but I did mine several years ago and cant remember exactly how much and how far, but you'll understand when you try to make the connection the first time.

Do you have to take the seat off? You disconnect the ground first, right? Thanks!

No.

You have to take off the cover on the right side with the key, and then remove the two screws at the bottom and one at the top that are holding the black tool bag holder thingy onto the side of the battery box (pay attention and remember how the lock catch goes back on), then the battery is accessible.

When removing the terminals, take the negative off first, which is in the LEFT side. You should be able to get a long phillips screwdriver down around the seat and frame area to unscrew the terminal bolt from the top if yours is not a bolt only (it should have phillips screw slots). Repeat the same on the other side to take off the positive (red) wire and them you can slide the battery out.

Make sense?

Yes, thanks. I did it 6 years ago, I'm just rusty.

It can be an odd angle sometimes getting to those post screws from the top with the seat on, but with a long enough screwdriver you can manage it.

I also wrapped my screwdriver in electrical tape just to be safe since I am working around the frame and making metal contact with the battery and the frame. If you do it in the right order (neg off first) it shouldn't be an issue, but I err on the side of being over-cautious when working with the electrical stuff.

You're pretty smart, aren't you?
It's a decent insulator,
