Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

I got it back in and now it runs great. Any thing I can do to prevent that from happening?

Yep......betcha that would make the fuel/air mixture a tad too wet!

That's a one in a million failure. I wouldn't suggest loctite or anything like that, the brass used for the jets is soft and easily deformed.

And that would have been "sudden"! Good job finding that and THANK YOU for finding the problem, fixing it and reporting back. You just saved us 6 weeks and 8 pages of guessing what the problem was!
