I did the Raptor swap - much better than original. However, I still hate the "lever" as I can't move it with gloves on and I ride a lot in colder weather. I am thinking of mfg. my own lever, but not like the one pictured above!! I just don't like my "knobs" hanging out there like that!

What's it off of? What are the section lengths of the primary and reserve?

Modified Raptor?

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

Ok everyone the fuel petcock is Yamaha. It is any petcock that crossreferences with the o'ring seal that goes to the 660 raptor. "Partzilla" I happened to have it laying around from my Tri-FZ450 project. I wasn't going to buy a new one for a 660 that cost $23.00. And I don't like how they look. So as anyone would know that has a 06 yfz450 , the knob on them sticks WAYY OUT.!.! so I took the plastic knob off and made a new one that's 304 stainless steel. It's about 2 hours of work that I like a lot more than the stock one. It doesn't stick out but .400 . Not anymore than a raptor knob would. This one is pretty easy to turn with riding gloves on.
Have plenty of info on this if anyone else wants to do this swap.

I have a raptor incoming but I'd be into doing something like this. Also a machinist.
