In the lower gears the throttle opening at lower speeds may be still trying to use the idle circuit. You're just off idle. That's why I suggested the choke. Get a bit more gas in it and see how it acts.
The stock petcock will get you one day.
I just tested it. Yes, when I pull the choke to the first position it's better. When I pulled the choke all the way it was ok. Hardly to feel any jerking motion.
But the bike was "roaring"
In one moment, while in 2nd gear and riding through the resident area, I accidentally let go of the throttle, took of my hand, and the bike continue to go w/o any problem. Like a scooter.
So, I'm assuming I should do some corrections of the fuel mixture, right?
