You can just use the  stock spacer ,it's plastic,by sanding it down.Lay a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface or a piece of glass and slowly remove as much as you think you might need to I'd start with about 25% ,If you over sand you can still look for the washers.

There's no problem that a full tank of gas and a sunny day can't fix!

the  stock spacer is the Correct diameter and has the correct size hole. Great model for buying washers.

ok..couldnt you order one from say bike bandit..a regular washer and then ..sand it.. i would think the price would be reasonable...just how long to get it mailed to you...that is the stock washer, i am speaking of... then you could modify it..as he said sand a bit off..and go from there..

we do this in model railroading..some bolster pins are to long...just sand a bit ..you can always take more off..but cant add back on..

Pam,

Wait for someone to verify this, but I think it is a #4 washer. I bought a whole package of them years ago at an ACE Hardware store. The washers  that I purchased are made of brass.

If anyone sends me a self addressed stamped envelope I will send a few to them.

Or if you have a decent hardware store near you they will have them.

Suzuki has a standard groove width of .035" .9MM, which is what I used as my measurement for raising the needle. My spacer now measures .075" instead of .110".

In stead of a hardware store go to a nuts and bolts specialist and while you're there you can grab some hex head bolts for the carby.

Yeah I did a rough measurement of 1mm and I measured the plastic washer at 2.5mm so in the end I just left the spacer and moved it down a notch pretty well the same effect as leaving the middle notch and halving the spacer.

The washer you are looking for is a "#4 Machine Screw" washer.  Most small hardware stores and Big Box stores only carry fasteners that have sizes like 1/4", 5/16", and they may even have some of the larger Machine Screws like #10 and #12 - you will have to find a really good "old school" hardware store for the smaller machines screws.  I did find some brass washers in the #4 size once - but the outer diameter was too big to fit into the recess in the carb slide....it is a more certain bet if you find the plated steel #4 washers.

Try to find a local hardware store like Ace.....or an industrial supply store....or maybe Graingers or Fastenal.  Getting them mail order will be expensive for shipping .....the washers likely are only going to be 4 cents each.

I lost my white spacer also.  It's under the workbench somewhere.  It runs fine w/o it.  Will check mileage when weather warms.
