Posts: 23	Cam chain should I get a new one 03/18/17 at 15:21:14 My bike is a LS400 it's dun 60,000km (37282 miles) I'm mid way through oil change and cam chain inspection. I will be getting a new cam chain tensioner What I want to know is, should I replace the chain as well? If so is there a guide to doing this? (I don't know when it was last dun)

So, either a modified adjuster or a new chain not necessarily both.

These can extend the life of the chain, the NZ price of a chain and tensioner should also be checked.

(still new to doing the maintenance my self)

When I would get them, take them out of their factory packaging, smear a little grease/oil on them, repack them in paper, and include a invoice, for, ‘Used Tools”, and 2.00- 3.00 - 4.00, and ship.

300-400.00 of New tools, suddenly reduced to, ‘Used’ tools, cost 30.00 +/-

Then send the paper that came with them, in a envelope.

Perhaps try that ? Don't know why that wouldn't work with 'parts' also.
