Met him once at Road Atlanta vintage motorcycle race 1995, polite, unassuming, yet a really fast guy on a track.

He raced in New Zealand, winning the New Zealand International Grand Prix in 1963, in a Lola. In those days the NZIGP was quite a big deal attracting many of the top GP drivers of those days. In retirement he came to some of the classic motorcycle races held here. He was very talented with full fairing "dustbin" bikes.
